Salvation Military resumes food distribution Tuesday
1 min readThe Salvation Army in Orlando is resuming its weekly food items distributions Tuesday.

The Osceola Council on Getting old, Group Hope Centre, Salvation Army, St. Cloud Foodstuff Pantry, Town of Kissimmee, Osceola Heritage Park, Osceola County Sheriffu00d5s Dept,and the Next Harvest Lender, work a push-by way of food items pantry for those people affected by the coronavirus in March 2020. They gave out food to 500 people.
The nonprofit will give out 300 foodstuff containers each week at push-through functions at 440 West Colonial Dr. in Orlando. The celebration will take place from 10 a.m. to noon, while materials past.

“During the pandemic, The Salvation Military in no way closed our doors,” explained Captain Ken Chapman, spot commander for The Salvation Military in Orange and Osceola Counties. “We continue to … deliver hope to people who are battling.”
Considering that March 2020, the agency has supplied 74,223 boxes of contemporary fruits and veggies, dairy merchandise, poultry and other foodstuff to families in will need.
Identification cards are required for various households traveling in the very same auto. Walk-ups or people on bicycles should use the food pantry at the agency’s Women’s & Children’s Shelter, 400 West Colonial Drive in Orlando.
