Review: What’s inside this tasty Italian dine in box perfect for Valentines Day

2 min read

A dine in meal could be just what you need to get temperatures soaring this lockdown.

While couples cannot head out for a romantic meal in their favourite restaurant, this is the next best thing.

Although a little pricier than a supermarket dine in meal- Farmison & Co offers incredible quality products which certainly look worth the price.

Here is what they have to offer.

This romantic Italian-themed Valentine’s Day box features a take on the famous Milanese special of Osso Bucco.

The far from basic meat and pasta dish is everything we think you truly need on Valentines Day- a succulent piece of meat and pasta and a bottle of Cianti to share for the occasion.

Though made with beef not veal, the meat will arrive alongside artisan made La Tua pasta, for a rustic and hearty Italian-style dish. Osso Bucco (meaning bone with a hole).

You will also find a recipe for gremolata – the ideal accompaniment for this wonderful cut and the La Tua pasta.

How delicious does it all look?! fancy something with a little more class this year and don’t mind spending a little more then the quality of this box is certainly worth it.

Overall rating

4/5

The only reason I have rated this box a 4 is that it could have been accompanied with some vegetables, maybe?

I realise this is the intention but I would just like to have seen just a handful.

THIS BOX CONTAINS
1 BERRY BROS. & RUDD CHIANTI CLASSICO
2 X 350g (12.3oz) 14 DAYS DRY-AGED HERITAGE BREED OSSO BUCCO
1 X 250g (8.8oz) LA TUA LA TUA – PAPPARDELLE PASTA

The likes of Asda have launched their dine in meals along with other popular supermarkets including Morrisons, Tesco and M&S
